An Intake for innocence projectsForm Not Yet CreatedWhen an Innocence Project comes to us, seeking a professional investigator, they do so with many of the pieces of the puzzle already in place. We are making an effort not to create unnecessary hoops for the IP to jump through. We are sure they have done that quite a bit of that already. We assume: 1. That the innocence project has made a rigorous assessment as to the actual innocence of the person in question. We will not repeat what the IP has already concluded. We will, of course, expect a description of the case in which the person's actual innocence is explained, but not with the same scrutiny the IP exercised. The purpose of our form is to: 1. Intake basic contact information of the innocence project. 2. Understand the basic nature of the investigative work the innocence project is seeking, including geographic area and scope of the investigation. 3. To take in the basic scenario of the case and why the innocence project believes the person to be innocent. Realizing the voluminous amount of information already acquired before contacting us, we have little to put into artificial forms, and offer the uploading of documents so that our forms do not become a hinderance. Following the intake, Proving Innocencewill make every effort to acquire the services of one of our investigators. Once an investigator has accepted the case, at that time he/she will request more detailed information about the case and exactly what the investigator might be looking for. It is unnecessary to supply that kind of detail prior to Proving Innocence lining up the investigator. With these understandings, please click here to be taken to the intake form. Thank you very much. |
