Lorinda Swain's Appeal turned downThe Michigan Supreme Court voted 4-3 to not hear an appeal from Lorinda Swain. Steve Kelso of WoodTV8 in Grand Rapids reported Friday that her freedom remains up in the air. And in an interview with 24 Hour News 8, she made it clear she does not want to go back to prison. The Calhoun County's prosecutor's office filed a motion on Monday, May 2nd, to revoke Lorinda's bond.

If you have been wrongfully convicted and your case involves DNA evidence, we recommend you contact the Michigan Innocence Project at Cooley Law School. If your case does not involve DNA, please contact the Michigan Innocence Clinic at the University of Michigan Law School.
