http://www.mcpihome.com/June 14th, Bill Proctor spoke before the Michigan Council of Professional Investigators, http://www.mcpihome.com/, informing the membership of the pervasive problem of wrongful convictions. Bill encouraged its members to contribute to this cause with their expertise and their hearts. Heads shook in disbelief when hearing details of actual injustices on the streets and in the courtroom from cases Bill knows firsthand.

One of those cases and of particular interest to the investigators was the testimony of DNA exoneree, Ken Wyniemko. Ken shared that all of the evidence presented in his trial for rape, which included blood type and fingerprints, concluded that Ken was not the perpetrator. Yet Ken was convicted on the testimony of a professional liar, a jailhouse snitch, who walked away from a life sentence because he delivered what the prosecutors wanted.
